1. How many formulas are in the PREGCEL range?

The PREGCEL range consists of 3 products specifically designed to provide nutritional and herbal support during pregnancy and breast feeding for optimum health of mother and child.

PREGCEL Multi is a multi-vitamin, mineral & anti-oxidant formula with probiotics providing nutritional support during pregnancy & breast feeding.  PREGCEL Benefishoil is a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids from wild Alaskan salmon, to promote the health of mother & baby.  PREGCEL Nausea Relief provides relief of the symptoms of morning sickness, nausea & vomiting during pregnancy.

PREGCEL Pregnancy Multi-Vitamin contains the essential vitamins and minerals plus the natural source of vitamin E and beta-carotene; vitamin C that is gentler on the stomach; higher amounts of zinc; as well as chromium and vitamin K, just to name a few.
 

6. Does PREGCEL Multi-Vitamin contain enough folic acid to meet my needs during pregnancy?

PREGCEL Pregnancy Multi-Vitamin contains a clinically proven dose of folic acid, which if taken daily for one month before conception and during pregnancy, may reduce the risk of women having a child with birth defects of the brain and/or spinal chord such as the neural tube defects known as spina bifida 500mcg is the recommended amount for pre conception, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
 

7. Does PREGCEL Multi-Vitamin contain any unique ingredients?

PREGCEL Pregnancy Multi-Vitamin is one of the only formulations that contain probiotics – and especially bifidus – a much needed friendly bacteria that is beneficial for the digestive health of the mother.
 

8. When should I change from my normal multivitamin to the PREGCEL Multi-vitamin?

PREGCEL Multivitamin has been developed for preconception, pregnancy and breast feeding.  Therefore we recommend taking PREGCEL Multivitamin as soon as you have decided you want to become pregnant.
 

9. What is PREGCEL Benefishoil good for?

Studies confirm fish oil plays a role in the development of the baby’s brain, eyes and central nervous system. Scientific research also shows that omega 3 fatty acids are beneficial for maintaining normal cholesterol levels in the mother.
 

10. Are all fish oils the same?

PREGCEL Benefishoil Omega 3 is unrefined fish oil sourced from wild salmon swimming freely in Alaskan waters - considered to be one of the most pristine. PREGCEL Benefishoil contains naturally occurring antioxidants.  Furthermore, PREGCEL Benefishoil is separate to the PREGCEL Pregnancy Multi-Vitamin to give consumers the option of taking a higher dose of fish oil. PREGCEL Benefishoil also comes in smaller capsules for easier swallowing.

Yes. PREGCEL Nausea Relief is an effective product for mothers experiencing morning sickness, including symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. PREGCEL Nausea Relief incorporates vitamin B6 and ginger extract, which have been clinically proven to help relieve the symptoms of morning sickness (which may be experienced any time of day!)
