Mixed tocopherols (Covi-ox)

Tocopherols are forms of Vitamin E. Vitamin E is found in 8 forms - 4 tocopherols and 4 tocotrienols.

Vitamin E primarily functions as an antioxidant, helping to reduce the oxidation of lipid membranes and therefore reducing free radical formation.

Free radicals are unstable molecules that can cause tissue damage, which leads to chronic inflammation, and in turn are associated with many disease conditions.

Vitamin E is especially important to stabilize the extra sensitive membranes of the skin, liver, breast, eyes and testes.
