Boswellia (Boswellia serrata)

Boswellia is a herb with a history of traditional use in Ayurvedic medicine spanning several thousand years.

Boswellia is used for its anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic properties.

The active component, Boswellic acids, have been shown to inhibit the production of certain inflammatory chemicals (leukotrienes) in the body. Boswellia may therefore be useful in helping to relieve the pain and inflammation associated with arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
